Terms & Conditions
Last updated June 23, 2026
These terms govern your use of Babble Router, a model-routing service operated by Magpie Labs. By creating an account or sending a request through Babble, you agree to what follows. Read it carefully — it explains how keys, credits, and routing work, and the limits of what we promise.
01 · The service
Babble routes each request you send to a language model drawn from the model set, price ceiling, and strategy attached to your API key. We expose an OpenAI-compatible endpoint; you keep using your existing client and change only the base URL. We do not train on, retain, or resell the contents of your requests beyond what is required to route and bill them.
02 · Accounts & keys
You are responsible for safeguarding your keys and for all activity under them. Each key is a routing policy you compose and may revoke or rotate at any time. You must be at least eighteen and provide accurate account information. We may suspend keys that show signs of compromise, abuse, or non-payment.
03 · Prepaid credits & billing
Babble is prepaid. You fund your account in USDC on Base and pay the live marketplace cost of each call plus a flat three percent routing fee. Every request returns a receipt with the real cost, the fee, and your savings versus retail. Credits do not expire, and any unused balance is refundable on request. Marketplace prices are set by the underlying providers and may change without notice.
04 · Acceptable use
You agree not to use Babble to break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate the usage policies of the upstream model providers we route to. You are responsible for the prompts you send and the outputs you act on. We may decline or halt routing that puts the service, its providers, or other users at risk.
05 · Availability & liability
Babble routes across many third-party providers and cannot guarantee that any individual model is available, accurate, or uninterrupted. The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Magpie Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior thirty days.
06 · Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard and reflected in the date above. Continuing to use Babble after a change means you accept the revised terms.
